Born and raised in Doylestown, PA, I grew up compulsively crafting with whatever materials were at hand. In my recent work, I return to this intuitive and playful approach to making art. Through a blend of sculpture, painting, felt, and organic material, my work mirrors our human tendency to interfere with natural processes and manipulate things to the point of destruction. Like a rotting piece of fruit, my work always transforms, changes, and grows in an environment that welcomes and resists decay.
